Update Lowe’s employees on wiring designations
Would RecommendLiked the style and design but the wires that normally are black sheathed for positive (+) connection white sheathed for negative (-) connection were both in clear sheaths and it took several calls to determine that the wire in the clear sheath that had very hard to read printing was the positive wire. Nobody in the store or on the Lowe’s customer service line knew the answer. I had to wait an extra day for the manufacturer of the light facility to open to get the answer so I could connect to t...

Wiring Instructions Confusing
Would Not RecommendBought two of these to replace pot lights over our kitchen island. The installation was not too difficult and the wife likes how they look. The wiring instructions state "connect smooth wire to black wire, ridged wire to white wire...." The lighting wiring does not have an obvious "smooth" or "ridged" wire - both wires appear to be aluminum and look exactly the same to me. Not sure how to make these connections.

Would Not RecommendBought it for above the sink, it scratches easily and some pieces were already scratched. Got it ready to install, only to learn the base didn’t straighten out. Also instructions could use a little more explanation.

Would RecommendWe were looking for a simple pendent to drop in our kitchen. We didn’t want anything fancy and wanted to install our own shades. This is a killer price and a great product. I wish the mounting screws were longer for my particular application but they should suffice for most.
