Works on a budget

Easy install, being working for past two weeks. Only draw back I can say is it is made of plastic. Wasn’t what I really wanted but fit my budget.

Lamp light fixture

Didn’t handle in the store... nice appearance but all plastic... if it lasts 3 or 4 yrs I’ll be lucky

Warranty Replacement

This was a warranty replacement for one recently purchased and installed. The first one cracked and split at the circular part where attached to the post. Process with customer service was okay.

Inexpensive outdoor lamp with plastic body.

I have a mail box post near the street with a lamp atop. The entire post is ready to be replaced but I'm not quite ready to do it -- so when the lamp shorted out (weather related corrosion) I looked for an immediately available inexpensive replacement lamp to install to tide me over until post replacement and upgrade. This lamp fills the bill -- decent looking, weather resistant and easy to install.

Don't waste your money

I purchased one of these and after opening it was amazed at just how cheaply it was constructed. It is made of plastic and the top piece is very lightweight and it should snap into place. However, every time I have winds above 15 mph it blows off. I should have gone with my first instinct to return it. It is garbage!

Pole light

My pole light quit working. I took it down and discovered that the light socket was damaged and rusted into the lamp housing, besides, it was very old. I purchased the new light from Lowes and installed it. It didn't work. I took it down, checked for power at the pole and plugged the light directly into an outlet. There was power at the pole and plugging the light into and outlet it didn't work. I took it back to Lowes and exchanged it for one without faulty wiring. After installation, it worked...

Post Light

This is a replacement for an old post light that had become badly worn. Installation was easy until I discovered that the post being so much older was also slightly larger than the new unit. I had to use Dawn dishwashing liquid to lube the post and lamp in order to slide it into place. The new light would not go down far enough to meet the existing hole for the anchor screw. No problem, drilled a new hole. The job was done with a bit more effort than I expected and the lens panels kept falling o...

Disappointing

After my wife picked this light out to replace the metal pole light that kept shorting out in the rain, I found out it was plastic. There were other boxes on the shelf that showed indication of being brought back. Wish I had too. Top doesn't fit well, sleeve for mounting on the pole too tight, barely got enough on the pole to hold securely. Certainly not worth the money but it did work. Were it not for that, it would have been back to the store. After mounted wife didn't like it, looks too small...

Durable Best Value Post Light

Everything about the product is great, I installed a warm white LED lamp instead, which really makes the Post light look GREAT!! Bought the existing white post as well, Everything fit together nicely! I would recommend a low heated lamp just because of the plastic glass and molding, I feel if you put in a higher wattage lamp it might distort it, that's the only reason I felt the Design was "good"
