Good value

Bought as a replacement for an old carriage light, the kind with the 3 candelabra bulbs. This one is plastic, sure. So are the little panels that look like beveled glass. But this one is for an LED bulb, so very little heat, plus, the lid is on a hinge so cleaning is much easier. I wired it myself (zero experience) and it works well.

Well, in fairness, it works.

I wish I could give this pole light a higher rating. There were some issues that were hard to ignore. One minor problem was the so-called "mounting screw." This screw is too small, it barely makes it through the base of the future. I used my own. Additionally, it took an act of God to get the top of the future closed. the title says it all. do not buy this product. it was even lightweight super thin plastic

Made poorly

Everything went together nice, until the lid, it doesnt close properly and the wind has blown it off twice in 2 weeks, it does not click in when closing it and catch.

This is my second purchase of this product in the past 5 years. I am extremely satisfied with this product and have recommended it to several neighbors in our community.

Outside Lamp post

It works perfectly! There was no problem with installation either.

i have installed several in one community, and i like it- except its very difficult to get the latch for the lid into place without cracking it. U have to ply it with a putty knife or small screwdriver to make it shut.

pole light

I replaced the pole post lamp on my outdoor fixture. It was very easy to install and looks great.

Cheap piece of plastic junk

Ice storm destroyed my light fixture, so I went to Lowes and purchased on Saturday, should have returned upon opening and finding out it was plastic, but went ahead and installed. On Sunday morning the poorly designed "snap on" top was blown off. Put it back on and two hours later it was off again. Removed it and at least Lowes took it back and refunded. Went to competitor big box store, purchased superior metal Patriot fixture with a metal top that is held on by two screws for 10+ bucks less - ...

Faulty Snap Connection of Lid to Fixture

There is one major flaw: The top lid is secured by a simple snap device formed in the same material as the lid. It should snap in place with a little pressure. BUT! It takes considerable pressure and manipulation to snap it! Bad design! I would not recommend this fixture because of this one bad feature. Positive comment: it is attractive!

All plastic, will not rot. Closing the lid of the light is difficult, i had to use pliers to close and open it. Other than that it is a good light.

Post Light

The post light looks good, but I was disappointed when I opened the box to find that the light was made out of plastic! My last post light (a metal one) lasted over 30 years! I hope this one lasts a long time too!

Outside post lamp

Plastic construction a bit lightweight for an outside application. Came across as a bit flimsy plus it does not fit sit snug on the pole. With only one very small screw to anchor it to pole could not get it to sit straight.
