Would Not RecommendThe plastic "fish" may be adequate when pulled, however unfortunately it wasn't flexible enough to easily bend through the permanent drain strainer and piping. The metal "four claws" are too thin and weak, thus didn't grab and retain any obstruction of substance. The flexible metal housing for the "claw" was too large a diameter to fit through the permanent non-removable drain strainer.
Not very durable tool, but works fine.
