Would RecommendIt is not solid wood. I would not use it where you could have damage or moisture. But for my use it was perfect. I used in dinning room where we never use much. The color is perfect and looks just like solid wood. I ordered for pickup and they had picked out a perfect piece

Shipping container was a bad choice. Should of been a cylindrical tube, but it was a way too large square box that was broken, thus my piece was broken. Only plus was I didn't need the full length.
