Ratings & Reviews for Project Source 1-GPM Plastic Transfer Pump

Not for heavy use

Very cheap. The shaft bends under very little pressure

It’s one of the worst hand pumps to buy a drinking cup works better

Great tool

Works well

Garbage. Water leaks from where hose connects

This is absolute junk. I wish I can give it zero stars. With every draw, water leaks heavily from where the host connects. I have tried "screwing" it in tighter, but to no avail. It just makes a huge water mess. Then, when trying to unscrew the hose, it twists and twists and does not come off. I wish I can get my $45 back. What a rip-off! Couldn't even use it once.

Pumps out water real quick

Works great

Not too much. Simple to operate

It worked well for the job

Good Pump

Works as described, seems well made.

Didn't workout of the box

We bought this to pump out our sump during the heavy rain from Helene when our battery backup failed. My husband wore himself out trying to make this work, but the only way it would remove water was to pump and then pour out what little the barrel would hold, about 2 c. of water. Will be returning.

Very good product

Love this product. Use for work.

A First For Me (take it off the shelf)

This is the first item I have purchased from Lowe's that is total trash. The hose leaked at the pump end. In the middle of the hose it had a split where it had been folded to put in box. Being the closest Lowe's is 60 miles away it wasn't worth the 120 mile round trip to swap out. the idea is good, but the quality is lacking to say the least. If you could give a negative number it won the prize of -10. Love Lowe's, but you missed the boat on this one.

Bad Quality

Product is super flimsy when you try to pump water handle feels like it’s going to break

Comes broken

Would not buy this again.... the internals are broken and need to be super glued together

It works

The pump design is good and works effectively. I had difficulty getting the hose to insert completely so there is a small amount of water leaking from the join of hose to pump, but it still works well.

Very useful tool

Works great. Pump water with little effort. Should clean after each use.

Not impressed. Felt very flimsy

I purchased this and some additional hose to pump out a small pond that formed on my driveway due to snow melt. The hose didn't feel at all secure, so I ended up having to tape it as well. It did move the water but it felt as though it was going to fall apart at any moment. I ended up returning it, and shoveled the water out by hand.
