Easy pump

This pump was easy to assemble and use. I use it on a 55 gallon drum to transfer it to a gallon jug. The one problem was that the hose on the pump was too big so I had to use it funnel.

Broken

Took the pump out of the box put it in the water Pulled the handle two times and it quite pumping Took it back

DOESNT WORK

I honestly don’t know how anyone could give this more than one star. The pump does not work at all it barely creates any suction you’re lucky to get an ounce out of it.

Not

No better than siphoning with any old tube. You have to mess with the outlet to get the water out because of the weight of the water pumped into the hose- so your outlet has to be downhill anyway. I wanted to be able to transfer water from things like random tote bins into rain barrels after a rain. It is faster and less messy to just scoop water with my hands for that purpose. I’ll return this and just give up on that last couple inches I can’t lift or reach with a bucket.

Easy to use

Bought this because our water meter box fills with water. It worked perfectly

Works great!

Needed to empty my flooded water softener brine tank for service. This pump is large and moves a lot of water fast. Has a long drain hose.Easy to connect securely, rinse out. I really didn’t want to spend this much originally but it works so well. I’ll be using it on and off in the future so I feel it’s worth it!

Plastic Transfer Pump

It did pump water out, but it also leaked in a couple spots.

Life saver

If you have a small job but have water stopping you, this is a good tool to have.

Hand Pump

Works great and is east to use. Needed to get water out of my water softener and it worked perfectly. I have a Wet/Dry Shop Vac, but for smaller jobs this is a great addition to any homeowners tool box!

Hose is way too short

The outlet hose on this is way too short to be useful - best case you’ll end up getting soaked, worst case you’ll end up pumping water right back where it came from. Furthermore you can’t reliably attach the hose to any other hose to get a more useful length.

Great product!

Perfect tool to remove muddy water from the hole when making irrigation repairs. Love it.

Removes water in a snap

4.5* Would of gotten 5* if the slide action was a little easier. Female 5’8” had a little trouble pulling and pushing. Husband had no trouble. Did the job quickly!!!

Should Of Worked But It Didn't

Saw this transfer pump at Lowe's, thought it would be a good one for transferring water from my rain barrels that I have collected over the winter. Read the reviews and I did leave the end cap on even though the box directions were confusing. Put it in a full barrel and pumped and pumped, nothing. Pulled the pump out and took off the end cap, I found the piston had fallen off the pump rod. Looks like they didn't have enough glue to retain it to the rod. It's going back today! Not worth the $30 d...
