Ratings & Reviews for Project Source Nylon Pool Skimmer

Works great

Very good quality

Good large skimmer

This skimmer net has a large net area that makes grabbing surfase debris really easy, it snaps right onto a skimmer pole, but does not easily mount to any other types of poles. We actually use this to remove algae and leaves from our koi pond. It did a great job at catching the debris, i just wish it was easier to mount to other types of poles

Super Net

Recently purchased this pill slimmer as a replacement for my broken more expensive skimmer net. I was honestly looking for a temporary fix until I was able to order what I thought would be a better one due to the other brand being more expensive. I was wrong. Not only was I wrong about this becoming a temporary fix but also about the other brand being better. It's safe to say that most people can hold something and immediately tell if it's going ti be a great product or not. This was one of thos...

Thick

Very thick hard to run through the water. It almost broke my pole trying to skim the pool. I would say that the screen on it can have a little larger holes

Works good

Works great for our hot tub. We just got one and the leafs and pollen have been falling into. It really help clean up the mess quickly. Picks up most small particles.

Very nice pool skimmer

This is my second pool skimmer of this kind, and my first one is still going strong (now in its third year). It has a large, reinforced frame which helps with rigidity when picking up a lot of water-soaked leaves. Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of a full skimmer as my pool has been pretty clean the last few weeks, but this really is one of the best skimmers out there. In addition, the frame is much higher/thicker than many other pool skimmers, which helps keeping whatever is scooped up in...

Strong frame but questionable net connection

Out of the box, I liked the sturdiness of the frame. It’s well built with reinforcement. Truly appreciate the oversized finger compression points in order to get the net inserted into pole. No cut fingers. Reinforcement on the front of the netting frame helped maintain the net in a near flat position. Nets I’ve used in the past would easily bend or snap as they were used. My only concern is the net connection to the frame (as pictured), it looks as if the netting will easily separate as the conn...

Works as intended

I like using this skimmer for quick top water cleanups or to fetch bugs out of the pool by hand if we’re all swimming. I use my other skimmer, with the deeper net bag for larger cleanups

Pool Skimmer

I haven't actually got to use this skimmer yet. We have not opened the pool yet, will most likely be next week. Looking at it, it looks sturdy and has good netting. It seems sturdy and built to last. It appears to be made with good quality.

Bully

Really bulky, doesn't let you sweep along the walls of the pool.

Bigger, Sturdier & Better!

Upon receipt used it the very next day in my pool. The handle allows for 2 size poles which made it much more convenient for my smaller pole for both connecting & disconnecting by using the second button. Unit is very sturdy and a bit larger compared to those I have had in the past. Due to the heavier frame it doesn’t allow me to get as close to the edge of the pool. I prefer this unit’s size and sturdiness.

Built to last

First, I had no clue Lowe's carried pool products. So I was elated to find a section in lawn and garden. If you're looking for a sturdy product, look no more! Frame and netting are made to last. Small pool or large, this is a can't miss.

Quality material! And universal fit

One of the best skimmers I have used so far, universal fit for most poles and does the work easy for you! Love the quality and durability of this skimmer

Nylon Pool Skimmer

Project Source Nylon Pool Skimmer, it seems to be a highly functional and practical tool for cleaning swimming pools or spas. The skimmer is praised for its durable lightweight plastic frame, which suggests that it is sturdy yet easy to handle. Its large design allows for efficient cleaning of surface debris, which can save time and effort. Additionally, the ease of movement through water and compatibility with industry-standard pool poles make it a convenient choice for pool maintenance. Ove...

Great skimmer

Great pool skimmer. Frame is solid plastic and the net doesn’t feel fragile. I like that it fits two different poles and with double spring locks instead of single. The first one arrived broken and used the contact info. Immediately had someone take care of the issue and got out a replacement. Excellent customer service. I look forward to getting many leaves and bugs out of my pool with this.
