Would RecommendI had a fairly old lamp that the socket had stopped working in. This item looked to be about the same external shape. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the internal (socket) was identical to the lamp I was repairing. I simply needed to swap in the new socket and re-use the original shell. Very easy and inexpensive.

Would RecommendI had to replace a light socket where the turn switch was faulty. I removed the shade and wiggled the switch and it would come off and on so that told me that the switch was faulty. I bought this replacement switch at Lowe’s. Screwed it on wired it up network perfectly took about 10 to 12 minutes to complete the whole project. I now have a satisfied customer in my house.
