What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this grab bar for its exceptional sturdiness and reliable safety performance, with many testing it under significant force and finding it firmly anchored. Installation is consistently described as quick and straightforward, often completed in under five minutes with clear instructions and flexible mounting options. Reviewers particularly value the matte black and white finishes that blend seamlessly with modern bathroom decor, plus the larger diameter offering a secure, comfortable grip. The product delivers strong confidence and peace of mind for older adults and those with mobility challenges. A few mention soft screws prone to stripping, but overall customers consider it an excellent, functional safety investment.

WRONG DIAMETER on Website!
Would Not RecommendThe Lowe's website states 1.26" bar diameter; both on the spec drawing and listed in the Tech Specs section. But in reality, the ACTUAL grab bar diameter is 1.5-inch diameter. The 0.25-inch difference makes a HUGE difference for elderly and children with small hands. Correct your website, Lowe's!

Safety bar for bathroom
Bar is great. Heavy duty. Just what I needed. Screws heads strip easily not tough enough to tighten bar. And yes I predrilled holes according to instructions.

Be prepared to use tile drills
Would RecommendI did not use the mount screws provided with the bar. I had to use toggle screws because there was no wood wall backing to screw into. I have tile on backer board. So i had to drill my holes using tile drills.
