After hanging over kitchen sick it was such an improvement not only in lighting the area but in the beauty as well. I turned the globes down for more direct lighting. Awesome, just love it.

Perfect for us

We turned the lights upside down and it gives us great light. It had plenty of China and wire for a tall ceiling.

Very nice, simple chandelier

This fixture is very nice; I have it in my foyer that has high ceilings and the length was just perfect using the full length of wire and chain.

Looks great in the Kitchen

This light looks very nice for the price. We used this to replace the one in our Kitchen. We had it professionally installed. We hung our lights facing down and nice and bright which is what we wanted.

Very nice light

I used it in a gazebo with 12 LED lights connected to my solar yard system. Looks great.

Cheap and Flimsy

Brought this home excited to install it. The body has rust on it where the "finish" flaked off. The chain is 48" long, yet the wiring is 96" long, it would be understandable if it came with 96" of chain to be able to adjust the height, but it doesn't. The brass grounding wire is exposed and runs the length of the chain. I wish I had listened to other reviews on this before wasting my time and money. Going to find something else.

Big Bang for the buck !

Price for this hanging lamp is so amazing ! Very very inexpensive!. Looks beautiful when installed . Brings a touch of elegance to my dinning room . This lamp is just as good as ones selling for double the price . Great bang for the buck !

Lots of light

We burchased this to replace a light fixture that hung over our staircase. I liked it because the shades were reversible. Our old light fixture was difficult to reach and always seemed to be full of dead bugs - gross. This one offers pleanty of light and is simple and stylish. Plus with the reversible shades I can change up the look when I want to!

poor design - not enough space for the wiring conn

Step 1. Throw out the confusing instructions in the box and download the PDF. Print it an follow it. Step 2. Read all reviews - some give helpful hints that are left out of the instructions. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU CONNECT THE PIECE THAT CONTAINS THE WIRING CONNECTORS - as one reviewer noted, that piece doesn't screw in: you turn the nut on the bottom of the bolt. Before you do, you have to ensure that the wiring connector and the taped up things (capacitors?) don't get bent when the piece...

Great light

I would have given thee a 5, but the instructions are not that good on assembling the light. It’s a little tricky, but once complete they look great

Triple chandelier

It is easy to convert to move the globes down, but once we got it home my wife decided she preferred a candle with lampshade style chandelier. So back to Lowes to get extenders and white sleeves. We selected 3 drum shape white lamp shades. I purchased 3 led bulbs that are 40 watt equilavent to incandescent. It looks beautiful and replaced a can light.

Easy to install

The directions were spot on. Assembly was a snap. Installation was simple. As there was no electrical connection at the ceiling, we chose to install the fixture using a Portfolio Bronze Swag Light Kit (Item # 387262) with the frosted glass shades facing down. A real attractive addition to the dining area.

lights up the room

We bought this and a neighbor helped us install it with the globe openings pointed down. It really has a lot of light for the dining room. It will work with ordinary bulbs or led bulbs.It is very easy to dust. We are pleased with the way it was easy to install and it looks very good in the dining room

Crummy Instructions / Poor Design

Installation becomes a real challenge when doing the final assembly. Wanted to install with the lights facing down, impossible to spin/screw the units together without putting stress on the wiring and causing internal damage to the wiring, exposing it which could short out, or ground, meaning if you touch the body you could get shocked. We LOVE our new chandelier! It's perfect, stylish clean lines. It look really nice in our front entryway, and give the right amount of light. Price was fantastic too!
