Split the wires.
Would RecommendThe directions were not clear about the wiring. The smooth wire needs split in order to connect properly. Otherwise an east DIY. Very bright. Clean lines and elegant.

Nice for the price
Would RecommendNice looking lamp. Instructions are useless. Once you figure out how to assemble it, it’s easy. One lamp is slightly crocked and not able to bend it so it is straight. Not worth the effort of taking it down to return.

Replaced identical fixture from two years ago
Replaced identical light fixture purchased two years ago. Electrician tested switchbox then fixture, confirming had something had gone bad in the fixture itself. I bought an identical one as it was available, and there are very few choices in this simple style. Hoping this one lasts.

Beautiful! but: lousy instructions
Would RecommendThis is a beautiful light fixture; we got it to replace the old 80's golden glass chandelier in our dining area. This gives a lot of light, looks lovely, and uses low-watt bulbs. However: my husband is experienced at basic electrical and home repair stuff, and the instructions in the box for this were worthless. It took him about 4 hours to figure it out; I downloaded the PDF instructions on the Lowe's website which helped some. We like it a lot now that it's up!

Would RecommendIt took me a long time to decide on this product but once I did, it was everything that I could have hoped for. I gave a four star instead of five because it has to be completely out together and the directions were very detailed and complex. The light it puts out is amazing.
