classy looking fixture that lights a small room.

I like this product a lot. I just had my 35 year old bathroom renovated, and I wanted an unobtrusive ceiling light to replace an old globed fixture. The brushed nickel matches all the other fixtures in the new bathroom, and it lights the room nicely without being too noticeable. I used just 1 of the lights in the pack.

Light flickers and fails after 2 years,

Only comes with a one-year warranty. Replacing a 17 dollar fixture is much more expensive than a two dollar bulb.

Light go bad after 4 years

The lights in my kitchen, which I use every day, worked fine for the first three years, then flickered one by one and died out. The lights are not as expensive as other lights, but imagine the extra cost to get the handyman to replace the fixture (Lowes charging $140+ to replace a pair.) It is not economical in the end.

Fine when it worked

I didn't even get 5 years out of mine. It's been a little over 3 at most. And I suppose I should have known and would have if the electrician hadn't installed it for me, but was shocked to discover I couldn't just replace the light bulb. I have learned my lesson and will be sure to pay attention when I go shopping for its replacement.

Flickering mess

These bulbs do not last as indicated when we built our house 6 years ago. I despise all of them in our house. They flicker, go out, and are terrible to replace!

We installed these lights in our kitchen and laundry room as replacement to update some older lights that had been there for a while. They look good and offer plenty of lighting.
