Blue Hawk Tarps hold up well for outdoor environment.

Heavy,thick covering

Used this tarp as a temporary fix for a roof leaking because of severe ice dams. Worked out well. Threw ropes over the hose and tied to the tarp and pulled it into position. Tied off in the back with rope and weighted down the front with 2x4 boards.

Works great indoors!

I bought this to keep hay dry in winter. In just one winter (less than six months) it was so weak it just shredded like tissue paper. So I'd say it would probably be great in an indoor application where it's not exposed to rain, wind, or sun. I'm including a picture after gathering up all the shreds after its second winter out, where I had moved it to something less important than hay.

20x30 Plastic Tarp

Bought this tarp to cover my 28' motorhome and protect it from the rain. Worked great for us as it wasn't too heavy to pull over the motorhome. Lots of grommets to secure it. Held up well in the wind and rain and because it wasn't the less expensive woven type, it left no marks or scratches.

This was the the perfect tarp for covering a leaky roof!!

Emergency Cover

When the hurricane blew through this year we were afraid we'd loose the pool. We only lost the cover thankfully! The square cover over the round pool actually worked out! The grommets were perfectly spaced for our pool area!

Not the same tarp

Been using these tarps for years to cover my boat. First two: got 5 great years from each one in the snow and ice with a second life covering the wood pile. Bought a new one last year and lost all the brown waterproofing off the top, will not get a second year from it. Not sure what happen but for $100.00 it should last more than a year. Too bad.

Camping beware

If you have some sort of frame it's a good tarp because it's thick 10mil and silver reflects some of the heat away. But don't tie a rope on all 4 corners the grommets will rip out and tear your tarp. If you had some sort of A-frame you can secure it to and support it, it would be great. It being 10mil, it's a heavy tarp.

Not worthy of a lowes item

This has to be hands down the worst ever item I have purchased any where Lowes does gurantee it but who has the time to run each time the wind blows and get a new one. Would not ever buy this again or even recomend it to one of my enemies

Excellent tarp but ...

These are excellent tarps. They are the best I have ever purchased, though a bit pricey. If your looking for one that will hold up for months, then I would recommend this product. It is heavy weight and can take UV light for a year, give or take. Note: As with any tarp, keep it away from sharp edges or hard corners. Tension and/or wind action will shorten the wear life in those areas and will cause the tarp to tear. That is not a product defect, and this type of problem is the result of "Human E...
