This light is such a pain to install. It may work well in a newly constructed home where everything is up to code but installing in our 30 year-old home was not easy. There are so many things to fault but the fundamental flaw is having to line-up the base with two screws that are mounted on the installment bar and then slightly twisting the base. Dangerous Extremely This Glass Cover

The glass cover is extremely thin! Tried two different lights. One cracked and fell hours after installation, the other was so fragile, just applying it to the fixture it crumbled. Dangerous.

Cheap made

The glass globe is so think it shatters when trying to install the bulb. I actually think the light bulb has a thicker glass than the fixture. Do not recommend.

I am remodeling my deceased nephews trailer we still not hooked up on electricity I well review all my purchased once we get it all installed and electric

just what we needed

I was installing a dropped ceiling in the 1,200-square-foot basement of a new home and needed eight lights. these were perfect - clean design, simple and affordable. Only problem was, the local Lowe's store had only three in stock, and the second, 25 miles away, had only five. Took two trips and 50-mile round trip to get the eight we needed.

The globe on this lite is almost tissue thin.You have to be very careful and DO NOT pick it up by the rim. It literally will break in your hand. The reason I had to buy this lite was it fell from the ceiling and broke. The unit was first put up by a contractor 3 years ago and I remember he broke 2 of them before getting one up. Rather than replacing the fixture I bought the whole unit just for the globe. Goo experience.

Good simple fixture

This fixture is clean and simple - ideal for bathrooms and hallways. I have installed 4 of them in our home using 60W equivalent LED lamps (800 lumen warm white by IntelliTech). The lamps fit, but as with any lamp in this fixture the light is uneven because the bulb ends up at the edge of the glass dome. Good quality for low price

Easy to install, just read instructions pertaining to where shorter and linger screws are placed. Comes with insulation if worried about draft around junction box. My wife was impressed with the look given the price.

Great product & exceptional value!

I bought several of these for the closets in the house we are currently remodeling. They are a great product and value! They allow a lot of light to filter through which is perfect for the walk-in closets we have. I have bought all of our lighting fixtures at Lowe's for this house and even though this light is not as high priced as most of the others were, it still blends in with them perfectly due to the quality of the light.

Perfect fit.

Needed to replace an outdated fixture in a stairwell. Worked great and went in without a hitch. The insulation in the unit is a bit of a pain to work around but other than that no issues. Good quality and can't beat it for the price.

Avoid -- rock-bottom quality

This light was approx $14 and I would gladly pay several times more for the same item if it were better made. Base is very thin metal, unevenly painted. Glass cover is ok, not great. Wire nuts as supplied are a bit small to attach to AWG 14, would not want to try using them with 12. The internal insulation was incorrectly applied to the wrong side of the base, which I didn't realize until seeing one that was correctly made. So quality control is not a high point...
