These straps are better than bungies if you want little to no movement. Unlike bungies that stretch these are thick with very little stretch. The adjustable length hooks make it ideal to customize.

Would RecommendTarp straps hold a ladder on back of my motor home.
Rubber is to hard and snaps when extended.
