Like many others have said, these brackets refuse to snap into place. They should be simple (and the room darkening version had no issue) but the size simply isn’t right.

Terrible

The brackets do NOT fit the blinds. I had no idea companies intentionally messed up something as simple as mini blinds. The BRACKETS do not go to the blinds and the company knows this! No amount of bending will help, you’ll only ruin the raggedy blinds and cut yourself on the defective brackets. Who would have ever thought we’d see the day when you have to read the reviews for mini blinds. This is THE Worst product I’ve Ever Bought.

Cordless but not wandless

These are replacing my current cordless/wandless mini blinds which I previously purchased from Lowes. However now the wandless feature is no longer available. Please bring back the cordless/wandless mini blinds.

Brackets are the worst

I have bought Allen and Roth mini cordless blinds and blackouts shades from Lowes in the past. Products were great and the brackets were easy to install and the "snapping" was easy allowing for quick installation. They were also easy to release for removal of the blind or shade. The brackets that come with this product are terrible. They have no give and I couldn't even manage to snap the blind into place. They are going back to the store and I'll look for something else at another store. Too ba...

The brackets are garage

No flexibility in the metal bracket to aid in snapping the blind in. Damaged one blind and then I decided to trash the others and buy another brand.

Poor mounting brackets - installation tip

The mounting brackets do not make them easy to install. I'm an engineer and handy. I was ready to return them except that they are cheap and all are cordless now. So I took it as a challenge. Here's a couple tips that will help. 1. Make sure you remove the plastic end caps, especially if you mount the brackets close to the ends. Mine were 1-1/2" from the ends. Not for an old house!

Mounting of these blinds is a pain in an old house. My windows have had at least 4 different blinds over the years. The mounting points are uneven with paint lumps and old screw holes. These new style mounting clips don't work at all on an uneven surface. I had to use a chisel to level the mounting surface to get these to work. I hope they stay up. These would work well in a new installation with smooth surfaces.

Garbage Brackets are a NIGHTMARE to install!

I only bought these because you can't seem to buy corded ones any more. These are an absolute nightmare to install. The brackets are crap and don't fit properly and out of 3 I couldn't get the 3rd one to install at all. I only got the first two by tweaking and bending with pliers. Steer clear of this junk.

Easy to install blinds

Moved into a new house that didn’t have any blinds on any windows. These were super simple and easy to install. Exactly what I needed.

Good product

Not too hard to install. Doesn't fit in the old holders.

Installation very difficult

I shouldn’t complain as the price was only 11 bucks - but the installation was very difficult. Perhaps I got undersized brackets as it was next to impossible to get the blind to snap into place. Had to mount the brackets at the very ends of the blind and also remove the end caps to allow the blind housing to collapse which distorted it in the middle. Can’t believe other reviews stated the installation was easy
