What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this water shut-off valve for its brass construction, reliability, and durability. Most highlight brass as far superior to plastic, citing its weight, solidity, and leak-free performance as justification for the investment. Reviewers consistently report the valve effectively stops water flow without dripping, with many appreciating the convenience of shutting off water at the hose end. The lever operates smoothly and is easy to use, with some noting it helps those with hand mobility issues. A small number report occasional leaking or difficulty turning the valve, though most consider it a worthwhile, long-lasting solution for garden and outdoor use.

Brass - worse than plastic.

Year after year I replace one or two of these shut-off valves because the little handles break off. Don't drop the hose, let your kids use it, or leave it laying where it might be stepped on or you too will find yourself cursing at your hose end as your neighbors look on at you in confusion from across the street.

Quality Hose Shut Off Valve

 Would Recommend

These metal shut off valves are helpful in a number of ways. The plastic ones tend to leak after a time.
