Stair Tread Mats are great for your steps. I have 22 steps in all outside for my house, front and side platform porch. They make a huge difference towards keeping the steps to non-slippery.

Nearly impossible to nail through

Needed these for my narrow steps, but they keep sliding off. I got some nails to nail into place and I cannot get the nail to go through the rubber. Otherwise they serve their purpose.

Repurposed them not for their intended use

I purchased these to replace my cat's scratching post which he absolutely loves and saved my new recliners. I screw them into his cat tree post with 8 screws and turn them upside down in about six month. He really goes to town scratching on them.

Perfect fit

I was looking for an option for my basement steps. We removed the old carpet and most steps were 35 1/2 by 9 inches. I found some other options for $45 per step an we have 12. They were a perfect fit after minor trimming.

Excellent for basement stairs

We bought these for our basement stairs. Fastened then with heavy duty staples (3/4” or larger) They are an excellent addition to wooden stairs.

Well made

Purchased these for outdoor steps. Heavy duty, hold up very well in snow and rain. I attached them with screws to my wooden steps. Top is an outdoor carpet and bottom is a heavy rubber. You do not slip walking on them. I have not found anything negative to say about them.

Not sure what these are good for

Bought these to put on our wooden stairs as we had 3 people slip on the stairs. While they have some grip on TOP, they have no grip on the bottom slide on the stairs, and offer NO HELP WHATSOEVER for people slipping down the stairs. Do they advise how to adhere these to wooden steps? No. Talk about spending money on junk!

I bought these for 2 brick steps I have going into the house from the garage. They are nice and heavy duty but they slide on the brick. I would have rated them higher if not for that.

Bought these for oak two step stairs from the garage into the house.The quality to the pads seems fine and they look nice on the step's.Durability is to be answered at a later date.Only thing is double back tape will not stick to the pads.I'm thinking the rubber must be a silicone base product. Had to put liquid adhesive on the pad's first then apply the double back tape to get the tape to stick to them. That being said, they turned out fine and i would recommend them.
