Would RecommendGreat for use on carpeted stairs to protect from stains or wearing down. They lay flat and so not slip. The only issue with them is the rubbery smell since I have 6 new treads. But they are worth putting up with the slight odor in order to protect my carpeting

Would Not RecommendIf you think you can put these treads straight on your steps and be DONE you're wrong. THEY SLIP ON BRICK..CONCRETE..AND WOOD..NO WHERE DOES IT SAY YOU HAVE TO GLUE THEM DOWN. I bought these as a Mother's day gift and was very upset by the complete uselessness of this product as is!!
