What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this pull-chain socket adapter for its simplicity and ease of installation into existing light fixtures without complex wiring. Most highlight its effectiveness in garages, basements, and older homes where wall switches are inaccessible, using it to power shop lights, string lights, and ceiling fans. Reviewers consistently report it works exactly as expected and appreciate the dual functionality for independent lighting and outlet control. A small number mention concerns about build quality or note the pull chain operates best in specific orientations, while a few report isolated electrical issues. Overall, customers find it a practical, reliable solution for outdated lighting fixtures.

Light socket power adapter

Very easy to use though the chain on-off switch doesn’t really work.

Light socket

I needed a three pronged socket. I thought that I could cheat by cutting off the ground on the plug but the device didn’t work with that configuration.

Good but…

 Would Recommend

The product is expected to be installed in a socket on a ceiling as the pull cord is in a slot that only works when pulling straight down. I have to pull at an extreme angle as my socket is on a wall. Otherwise it works for the intended purpose.
