The files work well for wood and other soft materials. For kitchen backsplash tiles, get a diamond file instead, as these won't work.

Better than expected!
Would RecommendStronger than expected! Yet, thin enough to get into the nooks and cranny’s I needed them to when restoring my Subaru.

Handy files for small items.
Would RecommendAmong other things, I use the flat & tapered files as fingernail files. Much cheaper than emery boards. The half-round file now has a concave surface on the back. I've never seen a concave file before. Great idea.
