What Customers Are Saying

The tile leveling system appears to have mixed performance. Many found it effective at keeping larger format tiles evenly spaced and level, but some reported issues with the curved spacers lifting tiles off the mortar and leaving behind plastic pieces in the grout lines. The flat spacers seem to work better. Overall, the system requires careful attention to technique and may not be suitable for all tile types or installation conditions.

As far as I'm concerned corned this is a "must use" tool for installing large format tile.

Horrible

Would Not Recommend

I’ve tiled several other spaces and used regular spacers with no issues. I decided to try these to tile my main bathroom and although the tiles stayed level, they kept them elevated off the mortar creating issues when it set. I ended up pulling up about 1/3 of the tiles that didnt ahere properly. I would never use these again. On top of that, they are ridiculously expensive.

Work great curved spacers are for thicker tiles

Would Recommend

The other reviews clearly either did not read the tile thickness these or the curved ones are designed for which is clearly described on the packaging and website or have really poor troweling skill. The fact is this type of tiling system is great if you can spare the small amount $$$ they cost as part A is kept with the tile. They reduce the lippage caused by human error and they speed up the tile laying process as you aren't wasting time feeling the tile edges to make sure you leveled your ti...

worked for me

Would Recommend

Needed this to use in place of QEP flat lashes since they are out EVERYWHERE. This worked with QEP yellow lash things and seems to work just fine with the tile. It feels like they will be difficult to come off but they actually do, just be careful not to put too much mortar around the flat lashes / grout lines.

complete and total junk

These are trash just costs more money. I used them once they dont snap off like they say they do instead they chip your tile and leave behind part of the plastic spacers sticking out of your groutline.

Curved Part A Spacer

Would Not Recommend

Got to agree with the other posts; the curved part A spacers tend to lift the tile off the floor are are very difficult to work under the tile. Laid about 3 rows of tile with the curved spacers and noticed the first row lifting out of the mud. The tile I am laying is 6" X 36". I Pulled up the 3 rows of tile and cleaned it up. Bought the flat spacer since I already had the rest of the parts. They seemed to work better, but you still need to practice good tiling techniques for the leveling syst...

nice level floor

Would Not Recommend

These really help to acheive a flat smooth transition between tiles. The curver spacers, seem to work to pull the joints together when the wedge is pressed in. The flat version does seems to allow the tiles to slip apart when tightened. Had a few tiles not level, I forgot to press in the wedge, there are a lot of them to check. Very impressed with the finished look as was my wife.

Ok. So there are 2 styles of these spacers. One with flat bottoms and one with curved/turned up bottoms. I didnt realize there were 2 different ones when purchasing. I bought 4 bags and one turned out to be the curved ones. Flat bottoms worked great. Slid right under the tile while installing g no issues. The curved bottoms ones were a pain to put under tule as well as getting the married tile to form the proper grout spacing. Recommend the flat ones for flooring vs the curved.

Great for beginners

We tiled our floor with regular spacers and weren’t happy with the unevenness of the tiles (lippage). So we used these for the shower walls and the tiles are perfectly even and everything went much faster.

Back butter your tiles or else

Would Not Recommend

These flat spacers worked well for leveling our floors, but they’re also rated for wall tiles. We decided to support ingenuity and spent about $150 on spacers and levelers for the walls in our bathroom. Turns out these spacers ruin the seal between your tile and your wall and if you don’t back butter every single tile they will fall off while you’re attempting to remove the spacers. Not a drop of mud on the tile itself. The spacer creates a barrier between the tile and the mud so you HAVE to bac...

Flooring project

Would Recommend

Used the flat spacers on my bathroom flooring project. The tiles were 6" x 36" planks. These spacers worked well to help make sure the tiles stayed level with each other. I did not have an issue with tiles lifting up. I used TEC 383 large tile mortar. You do need to make sure the spacers are snug with the edge of the tile. Some of the spacers slid in and stopped shy of the edge. I had to tap them in to get them flush. Be sure to get the tool for tightening the wedge. It is worth the money. The s...

Good idea in theory

Would Not Recommend

System elevates the tiles off of the mortar, leaving 50% or more of your tiles unsecured. Seemed like an easy way to prevent lips and keep tile square. Just caused a massive headache in the end.
