What to do with a failed vacuum cleaner.

Had an old vacuum cleaner chord I converted to a general purpose extension chord. Works great for this application.

An excellent two-conductor connector

What I like: This is a very solid easy to use item. It does the job better than most. What I don't like: There is nothing to not like. This is a clean well-designed item that works. The only thing I might add is that when I plugged into it, the first few tries were very stiff and needed some work to complete. This loosens with use. It is better, I think, to have a stiff mechanical contact to reduce the chances of arcing and/or over-heating from a loose mechanical connection.

Cable Will Break Off In Time

There's nothing provided to strain relief the cable where it exits the plug. There's no room inside the plug to make a UL knot or any other kind of knot. The instructions are poor and don't address this at all. Otherwise, made of strong plastic.

Perfect solution

This product is not as bulky as most replacement plugs. Simple and effective. Find a way to hide the screws and you would think it's oem.
