Would RecommendMy city curb valve is probably 5 - 6 ft. deep and is connected to a rod that extends upward to within about 1 ft. of the ground surface. The top of the round rod is flattened. I narrowed the forked end of the Lowe’s key by squeezing it a bit in my vice. Now it fits the top of the flattened rod and works great to operate the 1/4 turn valve.
