Ratings & Reviews for Project Source Barn light 2 -Pack 1 -Light 9.45-in H Matte Black Hardwired Outdoor Wall Light

Super cute but...

I purchased 6 of these lights. One of the 6 does not want to stay threaded on. So disappointing! I have rethreaded it several times. Anytime a strong wind blows or the garage door shuts, it comes undone. I thought maybe it was the black piece that holds the canopy to the fixture, but I think it must be the actual threading on the white base that holds the bulb.

Inexpensive Lights with Big Impact

Perfect for a low-budget update on the exterior of house.

Excellent Value, Very Nice Fixture

A quality product, fairly heavy-duty as opposed to some thinner, lighter products. Very nice looking. Good quality hanging hardware. Highly recommend. One star less because the big brown plastic sleeve that screws in under the hood can be a little too long. Just a little. All it takes is to shave off a little from the unthreaded (top) end.

Love these lights.

We wanted to update our outside porch lights. These are perfect! Perfect price and easy to install. Gave our patio a much needed update. If you're looking for farmhouse style lights for a porch or patio these are perfect. We bought bigger similar for our front porch as we thought these were too small. Really love them.

Ehhh

I thought for the price why not. However out-of-the-box I didn’t realize the insides were white which I don’t like. And I can’t even get either of the covers on because the little pieces that screw them to stay in so I can put in the lightbulb don’t align properly. I’ve cut my fingers just trying to push them in. So if I hadn’t Spent the last 30 minutes trying to get that on I probably would just keep them for the place that I wanted them but now I’m just gonna toss them in the box and put them ...

Broken But Beautiful

These are beautiful, but it was broken. They are definitely mixed reviews on these. My feeling is that if it works correctly, I highly recommend it. However I was concerned about the fact that it was broke before we put it out, so I returned it and chose to get some thing else.

ASsemble and installation was simple and straight forward. Nocheap material here they are sturdy. All that was required was a screw drive. Installed both lights in about 15 minutes.

Cheap A Stuff

You get what you pay for... and this went right in the trash. the mounting screws were stuck, didn't align correctly, the surface nut wasn't threaded on correctly and the screw heads stripped. don't buy this. don't waste your money and get frustrated like I did. :[

Chinsy

They are smaller than pictured and kinda lightweight in quality. 1 of them has already stopped working, no apparent reason. But I was able to get it working again.

Perfect for family room

Bought these to replace out dates wall sconces, what a difference! Nice and bright and easy to install!

Clean simple lines and just the right size for my application. They put plenty of light where you need it without shining in your eyes.

Nice Fixtures

Nice appearance and seem to be well made. I purchased this set to replace some infernal coach style lamps on the front of my shop. The area is now illuminated as desired without blinding the entire neighborhood, keeping others up at night or causing traffic accidents. Would buy again.

Great style, Great price!!

I bought these to replace my existing outdoor lights and couldn’t be happier!! The were super easy to install and their rustic charm was exactly what I wanted. They were packaged well and simply to put together . 2to a box was nice( I only needed 3) but it’s nice to have an extra for a project later. Could be used indoors also.

Great deal

We got these lights to replace our patio lights on our nearly 30-year old house. I liked them because they are dark sky certified, and my husband liked that they were easy to install. He was wary at first because he thought they wouldn’t give enough light, but they are brighter than our old lanterns!

Beautiful!

These look very expensive for the price, beautiful clean lines and easy for me to install on my own! Buying more for my back patio now! :)
