What Customers Are Saying
The plug is a basic, non-polarized 2-prong replacement that works well for simple low-power applications. However, the quality and design are mixed, with some users reporting issues like stripped screw threads, lack of strain relief, and concerns about safety for certain uses. The plug may be a functional, inexpensive option for basic electrical repairs, but customers should carefully consider their needs and the limitations of this type of plug.

Would RecommendI thought this was what I needed but I was wrong so I had to come back later and get the right one. I should have brought the old one with me
The throat of the plug where you feed the wire in is too large for smaller cables and needs a spacer of some sort or an excessive amount of taping to keep it from pulling loose.

suspended light was meant to be hard wired and it couldn't be done so we added the plug perfect.

DON"T BOTHER - JUNK ! !
Would Not RecommendWrite a review on a plug ... seriously ... Yep.. I need to replace the plug on the end of a home vacuum, this seemed like a good fit. NOT ! There is NO STRAIN RELIEF to hold power cord into plug housing. Only the wire from the vac held in by screws. JUNK / POOR design. I added some electrical tape and tie wrap to 'act' as a stain relief to get me by. How this items carries a UL label beyond me. Shame on Lowes to carry such an item ..
Looks Good on the Outside, BUT.....
Would Not RecommendSomeone in Lowe's greater Chinese supply chain failed to notice that, when you secure wire--even thin 18/2 lamp wire-- to the inner screws of the prongs of this plug and use the strain relief notches to retain the wire, the plug cover (case) has insufficient clearance inside to allow for neat reassembly without great difficulty. Result: you have to squash the plug back together and hope the two tiny retaining screws will hold the assembly together. It's slow and sloppy and low grade. Find a bett...
Straightforward solution for replacing old plugs
Would Recommendif you go to the store and look at the item, you'll clearly see it's not polarized, so why complain that it's not? there are lots of appliances this plug is great for: lamps and such, and in my case, a soldering iron ... strip 3/8" of insulation from your cord, tin the exposed conductor (always!) and feed it into the screw terminal, bending the wire thru the handy loop at the end of the terminal - repeat for the other wire, obviously, and you've got a strong connection ... if you're dumb enough...
Hard to find product on the shelf. There were many plug ends, three prong and twist lock But only one type of two prong for lamp and fans

15-Amp 125-Volt Plug
Would RecommendIt works well for what I needed. It was a little hard to get the wires attached, but normal for this type of product, I think.

Great for 2-wire products
Would RecommendNeeded a new pug for 120v chainsaw. Manufacturer wanted $14.00 for a new connector (+ shipping). This one is just as good and much cheaper!!!

Just what I needed.
Would RecommendThe sales associate was very helpful. He showed me exactly what I needed to repair a worn out plug on my 48-year-old Sunbeam mixer. Now it works just like new.

One small flaw
Would RecommendThe design is great and easy to use. It makes a great replacement end for a pet chewed cord or just a broken prong. The only issue I have is it should have a stain relief option (keeps the cord from being pulled out of the plug) but if you have small flexible cord you can put a knot inside to make it safe and secure.

Fixed my lamp
Would RecommendIt was easy to use and replaced an old plug on an antique lamp that no longer worked. An excellent value!

Overall Design
Would RecommendI bought this wire plug as a replacement for an old floor lamp. I was disappointed because the plug was not a polarized plug. Even so, it did fit the design of the lamp.

Wire Plug Quality is poor
Would Not RecommendThe product is plastic with metal screws. As a result the thread in the plastic gets stripped when you tighten the screw
