This came in really handy when I started packing my kitchen up to move. All of my items are secure and fit perfectly in the small box that I bought from Lowe's.

This kit makes packing easy. All you need to protect your dishes. Take care of what you own and buy this kit.

Use these for long moves to not loose my dishes

This has helped keep my dishes from getting destroyed on long moves.

Very convenient and can pack more than dishes

Cardboard dividers and two different size foam pouches. Purchased two and used the second one for other delicate things (small picture frames, decanters, etc...).

pretty helpful

I mean, it is a dish packing kit, of course it is going to be good. That said, you could probably save money buy buying a roll of foam or bubble wrap and doing it yourself. The cardboard in this didnt really do anything. I didnt use it.

I got this kit to help my daughter move, and it really came in handy. It worked well in the boxes and even got more in then I thought.

good for delicate plates

The box packing kit was overall good enough. The tabs on the cardboard "gave" a little and made me wonder about their strength, but the sleeves for the dishes were a good size (two sizes) and helped protect the dishes. They were easier than bubble wrap or paper.

The product is overpriced

I needed the dish sleeves only. But the package came with the cardboard separating pieces also. So that added to the cost.

Why?

Way overpriced for the value received. Don't buy it. Get some bubble wrap and make your own.

Not what I expected

Only came with Big and Medium covers. You have to buy the glass package separate; and the sleeves you put glasses are difficult and rip easily. Also, you have to buy the boxes to put the dishes in. If I didn't need them so fast, I would have gone to someone who sold U Haul dish packages. Comes with box, 3 different plate sizes. Much less expensive.

Dish Packing Kit or Not?

The dish packing kit works but doesn't come with a box or top. This creates a problem as when you try to find a box that fits its either to small or to big. The kit provides no help with the sizing of a box needed but you do need that information. Good idea, but didn't follow the process through

Product not large enough for full size dinner plat

Save yourself some trouble and money and go to your local uhaul dealer. The uhaul kit plus a box is the same price as the duck kit by itself with no box. The uhaul kit with box is larger, it can hold a full service set of dinner plates, salad plates, saucers and bowls. The duck kit will hold only three of the four types. The uhaul kit is 5/8 inch wider than the duck kit. The duck kit is too narrow for full size dinner plates unless you remove or modify the protective dividers, which defeats thei...

Im packing my china to pass along to my daughter and I feel that this product is more than efficient enough to protect it during shipment.

This seems to work very well. The final test will be when I unpack everything and see if anything is broken!
