Simple fix for linen or utility closet shelves

I have an older design in my upstairs linen closet that uses shelf pins and steel brackets. Good shelf clips, do the job!

Good clips fit snug in brackets however some do have sharp edges or burrs on them just be careful.

Good product works well so far. Installs easily and seems to hold up.

Not for me

I bought these since they were under the melamine boards that were pre-drilled. I quickly realized they would not work with them and have no idea what they're good for. As a matter of fact, the correct shelf pins for those melamine boards are located in Tool World. Great merchandising.

Find some workers

The store has few people in it that work for a living. People who work there need to be tracked down and almost begged for help. You have to interrupt their brain fog in order to get help

Terrible

The clips should be a spring steel. Squeeze slightly to fit into the upright pilaster. They are too soft. Once they get squeezed enough to fit the pilaster (sold by Lowes in same location) they do not spring back to lock in place and it is way too easy to knock them loose (after shelf is loaded).

Clips do not fit properly

The clips did not fit the plaster strips properly. IT was necessary to use pliers to squeeze the clips to make them useable.

Easy to use, strong and stable, cost-effective. A great choice when you can support shelves from the ends.

They used to be springier...

Seems a little difficult to finger squeeze in to install. Used pliers but you gotta be careful not to crimp them flat. Works fine holding up shelves

Strong brass

I had lost my pins after moving and shelves not being set up for ages. These fit perfectly and held up my shelves in the bookcase I had.

Excellent product

May need to use pliers to slip them into thd slots. Very sturdy.
