Would RecommendThe Anchor Bolts did just that; they anchored my small shelf solid to the wall. You might warn us less- inclined-to-think-construction "workers" that we don't need to make a hole in the shelf for the wings to go in. But if you make the mistake, a couple of washers will solve the problem.
