The shelving product parts are all well designed and suitable for carrying up to 1,000 lbs. per shelf when the weight is correctly distributed. These shelves are a very good value based upon their price and quality and utility. I highly recommend this product over competitors similar shelving.

Took 45 minutes to assemble
Would RecommendI’m a 62 year old woman, I followed the clear instructions and built the 4ft shelves in a total of 45 minutes on my own. I did use a rubber mallet and it was very easy. Getting the first shelf done was trickier but once that was done it was stable.

quality control issues - long beam missing rivets
one of the long beams on our unit was missing the rivets that allowed the middle support brackets to attach. without this, the shelf will not be able to support nearly as much weight. we did not notice until we had the shelf almost fully assembled. other than that assembly was easy and it seems sturdy.

Solid rack
Would RecommendThe heavy box contained all of the necessary parts. It took me about an hour and 20 minutes to put it together (with a hammer I turned into a soft-headed mallet). I have grow lights attached to the shelves and already have paw paw and Osage orange seeds planted! I love the rack so far!

Parts were incorrect
It's a good unit and easy to assemble solo despite worthless instructions. However two of the long shelf beams came without the rivets that allowed for the attachment of the shelf support brackets. I didn't notice this until it was mostly assembled and I really didn't want to deal with the hassle of disassembly, packing, and transporting it back to the store for a return. So I called the product support line, they said they'd send replacements. The next day I got an email, they won't send replac...
