So you get to experience the joys of hanging blinds from scratch every time you need to fix one. It would be horrible if you could simply swap the unit out and leave the mounting brackets installed. I am very glad they changed all parts of it. Suggestion: Upgrade the actual blinds; they are the part that breaks, not the mounting ...
