Customers overwhelmingly praise this quick-set drywall compound for its exceptional speed, smooth application, and reliable performance. The rapid five-minute drying time significantly cuts project duration, allowing multiple coats within minutes. Reviewers consistently highlight the easy-to-mix consistency, forgiving application for novices, and excellent sandability that delivers professional results. Many note the strong, crack-resistant bond even when applied thickly, making it ideal for repairs and patching. A few mention it sets faster than advertised or requires careful water ratios, but these minor concerns are vastly outweighed by widespread satisfaction. Sets up strong but still sands easy
First time using the 45min hot mud. It sets up strong and sanding is still pretty easy. I cant say it would stay usable for 45 minutes because i olny mixed small batches at a time. It definitely wasnt ready for a 2nd coat after 45 minutes but maybe I added too much water.
