What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this joint compound for its lightweight formulation, smooth application, and fast drying time with minimal shrinkage. Reviewers consistently highlight ultra-easy sanding with low dust production and professional-quality results requiring minimal effort. Many appreciate its cost-effectiveness and versatility for skim coats, ceiling texture, and spot repairs, with most stating they will repurchase. A few note packaging challenges and mention it lacks sufficient adhesive for taping work, but these concerns are vastly outweighed by overall satisfaction.

Great product with consistent quality.
Would RecommendLite Blue joint compound is a great product for fill and skim coats of drywall. It is relatively lightweight, dries well without excessive shrinkage and is easy to sand. It does not have as much glue as other blends, so should not generally be used for taping coats, but can be used for most other applications.

Pass
Keep your compound buckets, this product doesn’t come out of the box well once you use half the product.

About the same as any other
Would Not RecommendBought this to use as a final coat on a basement project. Although it seemed to work okay, it really wasn’t much different then the compound I used for the first two coat. I still wound up thinning it down and several times I had trouble getting it to cover without leaving a divet or dry spot.
