What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this primer for exceptional stain-blocking coverage, fast drying time, and ease of application. The water-based, low-odor formula performs excellently on challenging surfaces like dark walls, OSB, and wood filler, delivering professional results and smooth, uniform bases for topcoats. Many appreciate the quick dry time that keeps projects moving and simple soap-and-water cleanup. Reviewers consistently call it reliable and excellent value, with strong intent to repurchase. A few note occasional need for multiple coats on very dark colors, though most find it highly effective overall.

Not the best choice for primers
Would Not RecommendThis primer is very thin and rather watery. I needed to apply a few coats.

Very pleased with coverage.
Would RecommendNo odor. Goes on nice but needed 2 coats for water stains on ceiling.

Decent Substitute for Kilz
Would RecommendBought because Lowe's no longer carries Kilz brand. Seemed to work alright. Thicker (more like paint) than many primers, but seemed to cover pretty well (only needed a single coat to cover).

Easy to use paint
Would RecommendDoesn't splatter when rolling but also didn't cover the way I thought it should and I still had to use two (2) coats of my satin finish paint.

Masonry Paint/Primer
Would Not RecommendIt's as advertised and adheres to the porous brick very nicely! I didn't have to go back over the brick with a second coat, highly recommend!
