What Customers Are Saying
The Preen mulch product has received mixed reviews. Many customers reported the mulch provided good color and effective weed control for an extended period. However, some customers were disappointed by the presence of debris, rocks, and large wood chunks instead of finely shredded material. Additionally, a number of customers found the mulch did not effectively prevent weeds from growing through. The quality and consistency of the product appears to vary, with some batches performing better than others.

Preen Mulch Works As Advertised
Would RecommendI’ve purchased the Preen mulch before and purchased it again because it does what it advertises it will do. If one applies the Preen mulch according to directions, it’ll keep weeds from coming up.

Not Delivered as Promised
The wrong product arrived 2 hours later than promised. Bags were also broken and leaking product. Driver returned to store to resolve problem. Customer Service was not helpful when contacted. Not the way to run a speciously profitable and competitive business - however, the closest competitor is 18 miles away - one guesses that makes it easy to be less than mediocre.
They did not load these at pick up shorted 4 bags

Only got use of 75% of contents due to this.
Would Not RecommendI like that it has the weed control but it had too much dirt and minute material.

Garbage mulch.
Would Not RecommendThis was the worst bagged mulch I've ever bought. And it certainly wasn't inexpensive. There's just large hunks of wood, glass and anything else you could think of that shouldn't be in mulch. I thought that with the name Preen it would have been much better but I was definitely wrong. We're raking it all off this year and getting mulch again this time delivered and we will wheelbarrow it around and lay it out that way. No more bag mulch.

Decent weed control.
I’ve had this on one section of my yard for 6 months and almost no weeds have popped up, unlike the rest of the yard.
