What Customers Are Saying
The mulch product provides good color and helps control weeds, but some customers reported it did not effectively prevent weeds as advertised. There were also quality issues, such as large wood pieces and faded color over time. The product's performance and value seem to be mixed, with some finding it effective and others disappointed.

Too bad....
Would Not RecommendI have been buying this mulch for years. But not any longer. It has always been superior to the other mulches. Not this year. When I opened the bag I poured it out on my flower bed. I had to fight to get it out of the bag. Granted, I'm 73, but the big chunks of wood prevented it to pour out easily. I had to remove a lot of dark and large pieces of branches when I was spreading it out. I took a picture of some of the pieces I took out. To me, It's not worth the extra money. Sorry, you lost a cust...
Told item discontinued
Would Not RecommendHad a hard time getting the curbside pick up. Stopped employee getting carts. He got my order together and when it came to this particular mulch I was told it was discontinued so they gave me 5 bags of Preen Mulch that were 1/2 to less than 1/2 full bags of BROWN not BLACK Mulch. I took photos of all 5 bags together and each one separate. Some of the mulch had a white mold on it. Very upset that I paid full price for these bags!! I feel I should get partial credit!
