What Customers Are Saying
The Preen mulch appears to have mixed reviews. Many customers found it effective at controlling weeds and praised its attractive appearance, quality, and value. However, some reported issues with color variation, the presence of large sticks and chunks, and inconsistent weed control performance. While the product generally seems to be a good option, there are some quality control concerns that may be a consideration for some customers.

Don’t assume darker colors are just moisture
Would RecommendToo much color variation from bag to bag. Very disappointed. I have purchased over 200 bags of this product and historically they have been consistent and highest quality.

Would Recommendexactly what I expected, good red color, average grade mulch
Haphazardly delivered by 3rd party
Would Not RecommendLowe’s contract with one rail to deliver Horrible delivery Don’t use it they tore several bags of mulch Lowe’s is trying to place the blame on the 3rd party that I didn’t hire and all the managers is doing is filling a claim with one rail. Be careful using delivery and no one tells you it is 3rd party and basically any one can be delivering your product Expensive mulch
