Large sized bag

GREAT FOR CONTROLLING WEEDS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a month ago. I was looking for something to control the weeds in my yard. This product did the trick. No more weeds. I had tried several other products but none of them worked. Preen weed control is the best.

Good bang for the buck

Definitely Kills Dandelions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Preen product three weeks ago. We'd returned from a long trip to find our entire yard awash in dandelions. It was a virtual sea of yellow. My husband generously fed them Preen and today there is not one yellow "flower" out there. Of course, he has plenty of dead ones to deal with, but the Preen certainly lived up to its promise to kill them.

Weed Control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last year I put this product down on my lawn and was surprizesd how fast it worked. In a couple of weeks about 80 % of the weeds were gone.

Dandelions and Crabgrass Be Gone!

Each year I am faced with trying to control a tons of dandelions and crabgrass. I found if I used Preen Weed Control early in the season and water it in properly, it stops the weeds before they ever get to take off.

Works the Best!

Did not kill anything

I put down 6 20lb bags. It has been three weeks now & not a single weed has died. Looked for warranty but there does not seem to be one

Product too wet for application

Product would not fall through my Earthway Rotory Spreader for application due to the product being very wet out of the bag. The bags were intact, no openings. The spreader was set at "16" per the instructions. The product would not fall through my Earthway Rotory Spreader for application even at the widest setting. What am I doing wrong?

I'm an avid gardener, so I use Preen's pre-emergent herbicide in my garden every year with good success, and thought I'd try this product to help with the lawn weeds. Either this product does not work as advertised, or I'm doing something horribly wrong. I mowed the lawn, then applied the product the following morning when the grass was wet with dew (enough that my shoes got wet after a few passes). Herbicide, not a weed preventer

I bought this because I thought preen made strictly weed prevention products. As I put this in the broadcast spreader I. Smelled the strong chemicals but thought since this was Preen I must just not be used to how it smells. After applying I feel ill and only then did I realize this is just another chemical herbicide. In short, I trusted the Preen name and did not do enough research and now have a lawn covered in chemicals.

Don't waste your money

I bought a bag, followed the instructions and it did little to nothing. Can't blame rain. This stuff stinks. If it wasn't such a pain, I bring a claim in small claims court to get my money back. don't waste your money. Buy weed and feed or spray with a hose end sprayer.

Works amazingly well!

We purchased this in the early spring for the first time. We use to use a lawn care service and were not completely satisfied. So we decided to do it ourselves. The Weed Control really helped to significantly reduce our weed issue. I feel like our lawn looks so so much better now.
