Would RecommendI didn't understand why the bottom opening is smaller than the post it is supposed to slip over. The screws provided weren't long enough to reach from either side. I ended up cutting the bottom off about a 1/4" to make opening wider and then slipped over the existing post.

Would RecommendIt looks okay. It's a little taller than our old mailbox. We're not used to a plastic box but this was a quick fix after a snowplow destroyed our old one. I don't have a good feeling about its longevity. It says it fits over a 4x4 post. Not true!! It fits snuggly over a 4x3 post. I was glad I had read the reviews. If you close it fully it doesn't flop open like some people say, but you do have to push it until it clicks. It's not bad if you're on a budget. For the price I'd recommend it.
