What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the cedar mailbox post for its attractive appearance, durability, and natural weather resistance. Many highlight its rich color, aromatic scent, and curb appeal, with reviewers noting it feels sturdy and well-built. The cedar's insect resistance and rot durability are frequently valued, especially when sealed or stained. However, many note the post falls short of USPS installation standards, requiring extension or modification. A few mention inconsistent workmanship like splinters or rough surfaces, though most resolve these with basic sanding. Overall, reviewers consider it a worthwhile choice despite dimensional limitations.

Economical and functional
Would RecommendWell built and sturdy. Post was sanded and sealed to preserve cedar look. Ideally the post would be longer to meet USPS requirements as only 16-18" could be placed in the ground.

ceder mailbox post works but not top quality
Would RecommendI purchased this mailbox post as the last one available at the store. I needed this for a replacement and my store near the house was sold out. So I knew when I bought it the cuts were not perfectly aligned where the crosspost and verticle post intersect. The 45 deg cut board was haphazardly cut. This left gaps between the boards... but everything was solid and only slightly noticable. Install was super easy and the end result is fine for a middle class no judgement neighborhood.
It's a post.
Would RecommendIt's good. It is cedar, it goes in the ground, and you mount a mailbox on it. Don't take my word for it, though, dig a hole in your yard and realize all the eminence of a mailbox post for yourself.

Terrible Post
Would Not RecommendAfter having my mailbox hit by a tractor I decided to try this post. Looked great heavily made stained nice, after two years it rotted off at the ground surface. Going back to the treated post this time.
Poor quality
Would Not RecommendVery ruff cuts. Had to do a lot of sanding. Brace nailed on crooked. Nails were used to assemble rather than screws. This item was an online order and I was very disappointed in the quality of the item delivered.

Mail box post
Would RecommendPost over all is good. Cut was off a 1/4" but will work. Had to space house numbers apart because of bad cut.

Good Mailbox Post
Would RecommendThis mailbox post is pretty well made and is of good quality. The cross beam is not a neat fit and the nails holding the brace were not flush.
