Crossbar Needs A Brace
Would RecommendThe stability of the crossbar that the mailbox mounts on is dependent on the fit between the outside dimensions of the crossbar and the inside dimensions of the cutout in the main post. The screws in the side of the post thru the crossbar are not for stability. I installed a white right angle support on the front of the post under the crossbar.
