Ratings & Reviews for Postal Pro 4 x 4 White Polymer Finial Mount Mailbox Post
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this mailbox post for its straightforward installation, typically completed in under 30 minutes, and attractive modern appearance that enhances curb appeal. The polymer material resists weather damage and requires no painting, offering a durable, low-maintenance upgrade over traditional wood. Most appreciate how easily it slips over a standard 4x4 wood post with clear instructions. However, reviewers consistently note the wood post must be purchased separately, and some mention included hardware runs short for larger mailboxes, requiring longer screws. A few report minor issues with flimsy brackets or isolated defective parts. Overall, customers find it a worthwhile investment despite these minor drawbacks.

Saved me a lot of time
Would Recommend-Really did only take like 30 min. -Better quality than some reviews led me to believe. -Note in the instructions how far up from road the bottom of mailbox should be so postman can easily reach. -May have to trim bottom or bury post a bit if too tall. If the ground where the post is is LOWER than street level, it may not be tall enough. -Spray painted old house numbers and used heavy duty double-stick tape to attach. (Hope it holds)

Low quality
Would Not RecommendIf you happened to be standing in the aisle reading the reviews, take a look and you’ll see some poorly crafted posts made out of 4x4 lumber that most likely is filled with knots and splits. Yea.. That is of way better quality than this post assembly. Out of the box the molded plastic is very thin and flimsy. I sank a treated 4x4 into the cement, let it dry and installed the vertical post. Lot of wiggle room and took some shims to finally get it to fit right and level. The “arm” that holds the m...
bad parts and does not fit
Would Not RecommendI am returning one of two I bought. Would return both but I put holes in one trying to make it fit. Does not fit in post holder I bought, The top on it was not original and damaged. Overall it looks good but it leans as you need a 4 foot post inside.

YES!!!
Would RecommendI have had my mailbox hit 3 times over many years. I live in a patio home and was running out of room where to install a post with concrete. This was SUCH a great solution!!! I could use existing partial post -NO digging! It was fast, easy and it looks nice. No more painting either. I am very satisfied. Great job - thank you Creative Solutions! Made in Purvis MS in USA :-)
Easy to install.

White Polymer Mailbox Post.
Would Not RecommendIt was easy to assemble, install and set up. Looks great. It could have been a couple of inches longer for my location - the way the street sets higher than the mailbox. Also they should use 4 screws to hold the crossbar piece. It moves some - not much when opening and closing the mailbox. Pretty good value for the price.
