Disappointing Product

The first lantern we bought stopped working after 10 weeks. Lowe's kindly accepted the return and replaced the zapper with the same model. Unfortunately, on day 94, the zapper quit working again. After cleaning it and checking the power, there was no luck; it still wouldn't turn on, and it's past the return period. As for a recommendation, if $100 is worth a product that lasts about three months and lights up attractively, then go ahead.

Pretty if it worked

I purchased one about 3 months ago and loved the flickering effect and it seemed to work pretty well. Went back and bought another one which never had any purple light at the top like the first one did. seemed to still zap some bugs so I didn't return it. then the first one about 1 month ago lost its purple light slowly over about a weeks time. is there something I can do about them. is there a replacement bulb for them or am I just out $200 now?

Pretty but not effective

Bought this 1 year ago. Didn't really attract bugs. Replaced with a traditional bright light one and that was going off non stop. Put in pole barn. After 1 year the light dimmed. No replacement parts so it's a throw away after 1 year.

Returned , didn't stay lit

After less than a month of nightly use, the lights no longer ran consistently. It was incapable of staying lit for more than 10 seconds and would flash erratically after delays, sometimes, staying off for up to 30 seconds, acting like a short in the system. Similar to other users: Not satisfied. Returned for refund and looking a different brands for replacement.

It looks cool and works like a dream! We love it. It's pretty quiet too, for a bug zapper.

It really works.

I was unable to go outside due to the amount of mosquitoes in my yard. This zapper worked like magic, now I can sit outside undisturbed. I love it.

Purple light defective

Bug zapper works great. Had it a couple months. The flame light still works. But the purple light quit working about 3 wks ago. Cleaning, etc didn't fix the issue. That was my favorite part! Otherwise a great product for bug zapping.

It is amazing. It looks real and works great.

Ineffective Zapper

pretty light but doesn't zap anything. I have had it for two weeks and monitored it plenty. have it under window have about a foot off the ground. All it does is attract bugs. I even put a paper plate under it, no dead bugs.

Quit working after 2 days

Worked for about a week

Love the flame affect, but it stopped working after a week of use. I cleaned it all up in case it was the bug, but still got nothing. I'm disappointed. I really wanted it to work for a long time.
