Pennington Rebel Grass Seed
I purchased this Pennington Rebel grass seed because Pennington seed always produces and Rebel Fescue is made for hot summers of the South, drought tolerant witrh good germination for fall planting.
new Grass in time
Had I tree removed, so laid some top soil then seeded. It took about 10-14 days for the new grass to start to grow, but over the next week it really took off and is thickening very nice. I am pleased to have this grass in before the winter months hit so it roots can grow in deeper.
Little green shoots.
I used this product to fill in some brown spots in my lawn and to seed areas where I pulled unwanted weeds. Germination took a while even though I followed the instructions. But, once the germination started, I see alot of little green shoots popping up.

Would RecommendSeed has come in really well so far. I would recommend a soil test first just to make sure there’s not an important nutrient you are missing or ph is off and then fertilize appropriately and seed properly following the instructions. Grass is growing well.
Rebels Tall Fescue is the brand for me
Would RecommendRebels Tall Fescue has been my standard seed for my NC home. It does great in heat and drought and gives a nice full blade. Grass seed should be matched to your year-round yard conditions and what type of look and feel you want. Rebels does it for me.
