hello i seeded my lawn 7 days ago and so far not 1 blade of grass has grown how long does it take for this brand and type to start growing i live in lacey wa and this grass seed is supposed to be made for this area

I'm getting sick and tired of these surveys. I bought a national brand item. If I had an issue with it, I would contact the manufacturer. If an employee went above and beyond to help me, I would write an appropriate review.

Just spread it today... its too expensive as is all seed.

Did not work

This is the first year I have tried this product. I have used separate seed and fertilizers in the past, but was trying to save a buck by buying the combo here. Well this product did not work. I do not believe I had a single blade of grass grow. I scalped my yard, aerated, and then applied this product as prescribed. Watered daily and still nothing after 2 weeks. Safe to say I will resort back to separate seed and fertilizer that I have used in the past.

The lawn grew green and relatively quick (we watered daily due to a dry spring in our PNW area). Our dandelions grew too... be prepared to weed, but good product overall.

Maybe I didn't water enough?

I was hoping for it to completely fill in but I ended up with some areas growing grass and others not. This product is really easy to apply and you can see where the seed is. I just am not sure if I did something wrong as I did not get a lush green lawn as expected despite following the instructions on the bag. I used this in a high desert environment in April of 2025.

Green with envy

Following the directions planted the seeds and with in 2 week I saw some serious high quality grass growth.i plan on buying more and have suggested people buy this brand and seeds for great grass.
