unscrew that cap

I have used this product for many years. I always buy the large 56 oz biottle and refill a small bottle in the utility room for the dog's dishes and I also refill the sink dispenser at the kitchen sink. The cap on the last bottle I bought cannot be unscrewed. I have to use the little pull up spout to refill. That takes forever. What's the big idea? Keeping the big bottle upside down and steady is almost impossible for arthritic hands . Are you trying to force people to buy small bottles? Much...

No good

Palmolive used to be better. I haven’t gotten this in forever and now I remember why. I had to make 3 sink loads of dish water because they wouldn’t stay soapy and the suds would only last a couple of dishes. The water don’t stay soapy!! It turns greasy within two or three dishes

Hate the new “improved” formula

Just tried the new “improved” formula and I HATE it! The smell is awful and it feels like it leaves a slick coating on my hands (I can only imagine what it leaves on the dishes). I have used Palmolive for as long as I can remember. It has to be almost 40 years… and this is the first time I’m considering changing to another brand.

Exceptional for cleaning all Kitchen Appliances. I wrote that Ultra Palmolive Dish Detergent should Not have any Alcohol within the Detergent. Alcohol is a destroyer even for your hair. If I see Alcohol in shampoos, I wouldn't purchase it. My hair would lose its natural gloss, and Color would never look the same again. Makes quick work of washing up!

Palmolive washing up liquid is still my favourite. A little squirt gives enough suds and cleaning power in a sink of water for me to get pots and pans clean AND wipe down my counters and appliances. I find the fragrance ABSOLUTELY fine and pleasant to use.

Horrible fragrance!

The fragrance instantly induces asthma. I find it overwhelming and objective. Why do cleaning products have such stromg fragrances?

TOO MUCH SCENT!

Over the years the scent of Palmolive has gotten stronger and stronger. I recently needed to switch my current dish soap, so I decided to give it another try. Not only is the scent still super strong, but it has changed to a fruity scent. It's okay at doing dishes and cutting grease, but I gag everytime I use it, and the scent stays on my dishes and glasses.

NOT GENTLE ANYMORE

It IS a differrent formula!!!! It was great for bathing our dog with sensitive skin. His fur was soft & clean. We used the new formula & it was Horrible!!!!! His fur was coarse & his skin turned red and he was itching like Crazy. I’m NOT putting my hands in it for dishes anymore. If you want a degreaser, you will probably like it. If you remember ‘Madge - you’re soaking in it’ ads, it’s HORRIBLE. This Palmolive is like ‘New Coke’

Lousy new formula

I purchased a bottle as well as a replacement jug of soap. This was the newly 200% degreaser. I am truly disappointed with this new product. The first time I used it the new smell was overwhelmingly chemical and it dried out and burnt my skin. It hasn’t recovered since yesterday. Hate It

My hands were burning while I washed the dishes. On top of that the smell is strong and unpleasant. What did y’all do to the formula?!

Not as good as Dawn

While this dish liquid did clean it is no where as good as Dawn. Takes a lot more product to get the same amount of suds. I feel like it is watered down. It’s ok to keep on hand as a backup but not my first choice.

This dish soap requires A LOT of product in order to clean as effectively as other brands I’ve tried.

Good product

My husband brings these from work all the time and i use these to wash my dishes and it does the job. It gets grease off easily and the scent is not too strong. I would recommend

Best Dish Soap

Palmolive has a very distinctive scent to it, with that said it is my favorite soap scent! The smell is very nostalgic to me, it reminds me of going over to my grandparents house when I was a kid so I will never find myself using a dish soap other than Palmolive. It is very delicate on your hands as well, after a dishwashing session you will find your hands are still moist and not dried out.

Ultra strength says it all!!

I have always been loyal to another brand of dish soap so I was leary of Palmolive in the past. This was great though! They aren’t kidding when they say Ultra Strength. I have 4 kids so I do so many dishes a day and I cook every night so that’s a lot of pots and pans to say the least. This cut right through all of the cooked on food on pans or pots. I’m definitely going to switch brands now. It’s a better price and a better product. I loved it!

Extra soapy

Love this soap! Ultra strength for the toughest grease on my dishes is perfect !

Gentle, yet effective!

My favorite dish soap! It’s very gentle, but very effective. Cleans the dishes effortlessly and even the most stubborn grease. It lathers really well and my dishes are sparkling clean! It comes in many different size bottles and scents!

Super sudsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Palmolive isn't my go-to brand because honestly the scents aren't my favorite but I was so happy with the soap! A small amount created a sink full if suds, and all of my dishes came out clean!
