Parts of the flat surfaces look good. More than one of the vented areas I am not satisfied with. Some dissatisfaction is with the way the shingles were laid and some with a wavy appearance that I was told might resolve with time. If not, my hope would be that this issue would be addressed.

I ordered a good quality upgraded shingle from Dow Corning, a trusted name. The appearance of the shingles on the roof rate about a 4.5 in my mind. From the photo on the Dow flyer I expected the "contrast" between the shingles to transmit a little more appearance of "depth" or thickness of the shingles. I think the color I chose contributes to this appearance somewhat, as the shingles are not varied much in color so the roof contrast tends to blend together rather than emphasize each individual...
