35-year roof...durable, dependable, beautiful.

The quality is obvious, sturdy! And as a homeowner with new "Driftwood" shingles, I want to say that the colors are beautiful, a fabulous combination of gray, taupe, brown, tan, even a bit of blue/green that looks gorgeous on the roof and goes with house paint of any color. We are so happy with this choice!

one coat coverage

Not sure how to title a review about shingles. I bought a bundle to make repairs of wind damage on a roof. Although the old roof had faded and was, in fact, due for replacement, from a distance these shingles blend in well with the original roof. Best thing is the size hasn't changed.

Pretty good deal

I installed the "amber" colored shingles, and I am very pleased with the result. The sealing strip is very aggressive, and only a few hours of sunlight produced a thoroughly bonded surface. There is more waste with these laminated shingles than with the old triple tabs, but local building codes require them, so it doesn't matter. Someone bought these for us to use on our roof for us because we were going to have them do the roof for us as well. They were not the type we expected, neither were they the color we wanted for our specifications. The guy never gave us the receipt so we could not exchange them for what we wanted. Godd shingle for a step above entry level

Selected these over OC Oakridge and GAF Timberline for our shed. Not impact resistant triple lams, but not $250 a square either. Material seems slightly thicker than other big-box choices, granules embedded well. Surenail strip is a nice touch and definitely harder to pull a nail through than straight material. Shading nice, no sizing variation. Easy to work with. Sealant bonded after a sunny day even though temps were in the mid 40's.
