Ratings & Reviews for ORTHO BugClear for Lawns Landscapes 32.0 -fl oz Concentrate Lawn insect control

Product not being despised in On position

Product level did not go down after spraying 2000 SQ feet. Product in On position. Poor design barly can see product level due to hose is on same side as indicator. also if safe way to color product it would make more visible.

I regretted skipping a summer

I used this stuff every 2 months during Spring & Summer after moving into a new home (in a new state). I wondered if it was the product that kept the bugs away or if it was the new state we were living in? The following year I didn’t use any insecticides on the lawn. By the time the end of the summer approached we had SO MANY bugs! Mosquitoes, two types of little flies covering the lawn, yellowjackets, spiders … we couldn’t stand being outside. The third year I had a baby in early Spring so we w...

0rtho Bug Clear Ready-to-Spray is easy and works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been a really bad summer in our area for fleas and stink bugs. I would spend time in the lawn and when I went inside had to use a sticky roller to remove the fleas from my clothes. And the stink bugs were everywhere. I was a bit skeptical about the product, but it was super easy to use and worked! Was thrilled it didn't hurt my landscaping.

So easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So easy to use. I love this type of product. Makes applying the product very easy and fast to apply. Seems to be very effective on insects. Noticed fewer this year as apposed to past years with granular

Didn’t Work

Well, the bugs are alive and happy despite being heavily doused with this product two days. Spiders and earwigs have been running all over my foundation, siding, patio, river rock flower beds. They aren’t even phased by it. I specifically bought this concentrate so I could mix it at a higher dilution than the pre-mixed solution. Unfortunately I have quite the earwig infestation so I’m not exaggerating when I say hundreds have been scurrying about. I was hoping to see some improvement after thoro...

BugClear is BugBuster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this Ortho product and could not be more pleased. Since the application, I am bug free. I followed the simple directions, and the results followed. What a pleasure to find a product that really does works, is easy to apply, and does not take long to do the job. I would buy Ortho BugClear again, and would highly recommend its use to fellow consumers.

This stuff kills

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seriously an amazing product of not only economic proportions, but bug killing size. I was frustrated and had almost given up until I used this Ortho Bug Clear. Not entirely sure but this stuff could take out an Army of the absolute worst bug predators. Easily attaches to the hose and delivered lethal annihilation to the beetles devouring the garden. It was so fast and effective I'm questioning why our military doesn't use it. Ease of use, e...

Snails?

Has anyone noticed if it kills snails? It works fantastic on everything else and that's saying alot when you live on the Texas gulf coast

Ortho Burclear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product last summer and still had enough left over to use again this year. The product is amazing and so easy to use. Just attach to your hose and start spraying. The results couldn't have been better. I love my bug free yard!

No longer bugged!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This insect killer is very easy to use with its pre-measured cup. We have problems with ants, yellow jackets, mosquitos, and spiders. This started working right away and lasted a long time. I sprayed this on my lawn and house perimeter. Now I can finally sit outside and read without being bit and harassed by bugs.

Every year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product yearly to keep my lawn clear of invasive insects. Again, like most Scott’s products, it is easy to use and effective. I use it to control mosquitos and grubs and other bugs I don’t want in my lawn.

I bet it’s good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t notice too much difference compared to what I’ve used in the past with other bug killers for vegetation. About the same results as the competition. I used Ortho on one plant and Scott’s in the other and didn’t see a reason to make the switch.

worked great on Ants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used in my smaller yard and it immediately took care of the few ant hill problems I had. Tough to comment on other insects as I dont really have an issue but it definitely took care of my ant issue. I would recommend and purchase again. Easy to follow instructions and easy to use spray nozzle.

Great Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product about a month ago and great results! Follow the easy instructions and you will see how well this products works! Product easy to use and results are very quick. Thank you Scott’s!

Drowning insects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this product as well as received a product sample to try. this did not work for me at all, it made a mess in having to spray to coat the insect and follow him while spraying until he could no longer crawl due to being saturated.

Super Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in August. I waited until after I mowed to use this item. The day after mowing I have seen ant hills in my yard. Once again the day after mowing ant hills appeared. I am satisfied with this product, so easy to use and see how much product you have used from the bottle

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this just attaches to my garden hose and I can just spray away. Seems to be doing the job with ants. I just wish this also treated against garden bugs like aphids and snails! I hate those guys way more than spiders

Great for our yard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This insect killer has kept bugs off of my plants and vines, helped with ants, mosquitos, spiders and more. It keeps my yard from being ingested with unwanted bugs. It's easy to use and doesnt take much as it is a concentrate that you mix with water.

Clears bugs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this item for a while before using it to control insects that were eating my perennials and I also wanted to see if it would eliminate some of the mosquitos that seemed to be infecting my garden and small sitting area in the garden. It was very effective at eliminating the pests, but I was disappointed that it did not keep the bugs and mosquitos at bay for longer than a few weeks.

A good alternative to Ortho Home Defense

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a strong proponent of Ortho Home Defense for years.....probably since it's introduction. I have likely recruited around 20 additional users myself of Home Defense.....I think it is that good. After doing a quick comparison of the bugs this new BugClear concentrate eliminates vs my "go to" Home Defense, I was quite surprised of the added Bugs this product eliminates. Yes, it is a concentrate, so you have to mix it in a sprayer; so...
